The mission of the Future Insurance Leaders of Oklahoma program is to develop dynamic leaders for the future of Oklahoma’s Independent Agency System. 2018 Class information will be out in the fall of 2017. 

This program will:
· Help participants develop a key understanding of the industry as a whole.
· Aid in the development of tomorrow’s industry leaders by exposing participants to a variety of insurance operations and networking opportunties.
· Encourage participants to become future leaders in the insurance industry and their community.
Participants who successfully complete the program will be awarded an IIAO Certificate of Leadership at the 2016 Conferment Ceremony. They will also be recognized as a program graduate and will be featured in the IIAO Policy Magazine upon completion.  
Criteria for Admission:
Candidates must meet all of the following criteria:
· Under 40 years of age or in the business less than five years;
· Active P&C insurance license;
· Agency must  be a member in good standing of IIAO; and
· Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year in the insurance business.
FILO Program Schedule:  
April 19th - Module 1 IIAO Information & Governmental Affairs
May 26th - Module 2 Sales Training & Marketing
June 14th - Module 3 Claims & Underwriting
July 21st - Module 4 Department of Insurance/Regulatory Issues 
August 9 th - Module 5 Leadership: Become the Leader you were meant to be! By Denis Baker Coach-Trainer-Speaker
September 22 - Young Agents Annual Conference
November 9th - Conferment Ceremony
Must also complete a Community Service Project - Group choses between Food Bank & Habitat for Humanity and the date.
Participation in all five modules and the community service event (date chosen by the class) is mandatory for successful completion of the leadership program.
